"No More Sorrow" is the eight track on Linkin Park's album Minutes to Midnight released in 2007. Along with Given Up (Track 2), it is one of the heavier songs on the album. It starts out with a heavy guitar riff and features Chester Bennington singing and screaming loudly. It is the only song, which includes a breakdown, used in songs in genre Hardcore. The lyrics critique the policies of then president George W. Bush and his administration. According to the bands lead singer: Chester Bennington, the song meaning is ''about standing up against corruption, greed, and hypocrisy. The lyrics point to a person (or persons) who has abused their power, traded freedom for fear, and lied for personal gain''. The song has been performed on tours for Minutes To Midnight and A Thousand Suns.

Lyrics[]

Are you lost in your lies?
Do you tell yourself I don't realize
Your crusade's a disguise?
Replaced freedom with fear
You trade money for lives
I'm aware of what you've done

No, no more sorrow
I've paid for your mistakes
Your time is borrowed
Your time has come to be replaced

I see pain, I see need
I see liars and fiends
Abuse power with greed
I had hope, I believed
But I'm beginning to think that I've been decieved
You will pay for what you've done

No, no more sorrow
I've paid for your mistakes
Your time is borrowed
Your time has come to be replaced

Thieves and hypocrites!
Thieves and hypocrites!
Thieves and hypocrites!

No, no more sorrow
I've paid for your mistakes
Your time is borrowed
Your time has come to be replaced

No more sorrow
I've paid for your mistakes
Your time is borrowed
Your time has come to be replaced

Your time has come to be replaced
Your time has come to be erased
