Blackbirds is a song that is unlocked when 8-Bit Rebellion! is beaten. It is one of the demo songs that didn't make the cut for the 2007 album Minutes to Midnight. Mike originally said that the band had narrowed the songs down to 17 tracks. There were 12 initial tracks on the album, leaving 5 demos. They have been released from time to time since then. They are Qwerty, Blackbirds, Across the Line, No Roads Left, and Pretend to Be. The song is featured as a bonus track on the A Thousand Suns iTunes edition.
